Slavia Prague send four-word message to Tottenham after Antonin Kinsky quits
Slavia Prague have told Tottenham to “take care” of goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky after the goalkeeper joined the North London club on Monday (January 6).
The 21-year-old shot-stopper joined Spurs from the Czech side for £12.5million, singing a deal until 2031, and has since been given a work permit.
Kinsky will be available for Tottenham’s League Cup semi-final against Liverpool on Wednesday (January 8) although it’s unclear whether he will displace Brandon Austin.
Austin made his long-awaited debut in Spurs’ 2-1 Premier League defeat to Newcastle on Saturday (January 4) and ended the game having made two saves, 18/27 accurate passes, and ten recoveries.
Ange Postecoglu’s side have been without first-choice ‘keeper Guglielmo Vicario since he fractured an ankle during their 4-0 win over Man City earlier in the season.
Antonin Kinsky set to challenge Guglielmo Vicario as Tottenham number one
Kinksky was a key player for Slavia Prague before joining Tottenham, starting all 28 of his games across all competitions, conceding 18 goals, and keeping 14 clean sheets in his 2610 minutes of action.
The goalkeeper’s former club will clearly miss him, taking to Instagram to comment on Tottenham’s announcement of the deal to say: “Take care of him.”

If he doesn’t play against Liverpool, Kinsky could be set to make his debut in the FA Cup, with Tottenham traveling to none league Tamworth.
After a stuttering start to the season that sees them in 12th in the Premier League, Postecoglu will doubtless be hoping to end their 16-year trophy drought.
