‘Son Heung-min gives Tottenham impression he is set for exit’
Son Heung-min could be the next big name to leave Tottenham this summer based on the feeling around the club.
Despite ending their long wait for a trophy with victory over Man United in the Europa League final, a dismal Premier League campaign has already led to some big changes at Spurs in the close season.
As had previously been revealed by Football Insider, Tottenham have sacked manager Ange Postecoglou following their 17th place finish in the top-flight table.
It is understood that Spurs are already closing in on Brentford boss Thomas Frank as the Australian’s replacement.
Meanwhile, Son could seemingly become the next high profile name to leave North London ahead of next season.

Son Heung-min hinting at summer move
Back in January, Spurs exercised the option to extend the South Korea international’s contract by a further year, ensuring he is now contracted to the club until the end of next season.
That of course means this summer could be their last chance to cash in on him, and the 32-year-old is attracting interest from elsewhere.
There have been suggestions that clubs in Saudi Arabia are keen to sign Son from Tottenham this summer, and there appears to be an expectation internally such a move could happen.
According to a new update from The Telegraph, the winger has given some players and staff at Spurs with the impression that he is set to leave the club this summer amid that interest from elsewhere.
Since joining Tottenham from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2015, Son has made over 450 appearances for the club in all competitions, while captaining them to the Europa League title this season.

Tottenham exit could make sense
Football Insider Verdict
With the level of service he has provided during his decade with the club, there is no denying it will be a sad moment for Spurs when Son does depart.
But in comparison to previous seasons, the 2024/25 campaign looked like a much more difficult one for the winger when it came to his form and fitness.
Combine that with his contract situation in North London, and this could be the opportune moment for a fond farewell between all concerned.
It is also worth noting that Son sent an emotional message to Postecoglou after his sacking by Tottenham, highlighting a closeness between the pair.
As a result, the fact Postecoglou has now left Spurs could also ensure that the South Korea international is more willing to do the same.
With that in mind, it may well be understandable that some of those at the club are now expecting Son to depart in the coming weeks.
