5. Stan Cullis
Cullis’ time as Wolves manager between 1948 and 1964 will always overshadow what was a brilliant playing career from the old centre-half.
His playing days were hampered severely by the outbreak of World War II and injury, but it was clear that Cullis would be one of the earliest Molineux legends.
Cullis made 155 appearances in the gold and black and was also the youngest ever player to captain England when he was just 22-years-old.
The war broke out just after he lead the Three Lions out against Romania.
