Sorry Bully, no top spot for Molineux hero in five greatest-ever Wolves players
1. Billy Wright
You don’t get more than 100 caps for England without being a very special talent.
Wright takes the title as Wolves’ greatest-ever player.
He was famously never booked in his entire career, which he spent entirely at Molineux, despite being a centre-half.
Born in Ironbridge, Wright was a Balon D’Or runner-up, won three First Division titles and one FA Cup.
The Molineux icon was even awarded a CBE in 1959 and is widely seen as one of the greatest ever English players.
In other Wolves news, Jeff Shi has made a big revelation about Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani.
