2. Frank Buckley

The man responsibly for bringing through Stan Cullis and Billy Wright will surely go down in Wolves history after kickstarting a golden period for the club.

He managed Wolves between 1927 and 1944 and his financial management proved to be a catalyst in the post-World War II era that really put the Wanderers on the English football map.

Buckley’s handling of the press is legendary, having leaked a rumour that the players were using monkey gland treatment to improve their performances.

Without Buckley, Wolves will probably not be where they are now.
