Sources: £204,000-week Tottenham star Clement Lenglet will follow Conte if he quits
Antonio Conte’s future will be key to Tottenham securing a permanent deal for on-loan defender Clement Lenglet, sources have told Football Insider.
Conte was key to luring the 27-year-old to Spurs but the former Chelsea boss could walk away from the club when his contract expires in June.
Lenglet is believed to be paid €12million-a-year at parent club Barcelona – equivalent to £204,000-a-week.

The France international has three years left on his contract at Nou Camp.
Tottenham are unlikely to offer him a deal equivalent to his current salary package in order to keep him at the club.
Lenglet has started just under half of Spurs’ Premier League games this season amid 20 appearances across all competitions.
However, he was overlooked even with Cristian Romero suspended for the visit to Leicester City on Saturday (11 February) – with Japhet Tanganga taking the Argentine’s place.
The France international has also amassed four starts in the Champions League and will be in contention to start as Spurs face a two-legged tie against Dortmund from next week.
Lenglet is vastly experienced in Spanish football after spells at Sevilla and Barcelona and was brought to the London club to bolster their defensive ranks.
However, Conte has struggled to find a settled three-man defence and his side have conceded the most goals in the Premier League’s top half this season.

The Italian has reportedly halted contract talks with the Lilywhites in order to focus on their fight for Champions League qualification.
Spurs made two January signings, with Arnaut Danjuma and Pedro Porro both joining the club on initial loan deals.
