Sources: AC Milan’s stance on Arsenal and Tottenham Christian Pulisic offers revealed

AC Milan are likely to snub offers for Christian Pulisic this summer amid interest from both Arsenal and Tottenham, sources have told Football Insider.

Manchester United have also shown an interest in the US forward alongside the pair of North London rivals, but Milan are hoping that Champions League qualification will be enough to persuade the 27-year-old to stay put.

Pulisic has hit eight goals and two assists from just 17 games in Serie A so far this term, and sources say that interest in him is expected to spike even further if he enjoys a strong World Cup this summer.

The former Chelsea star is set to enter the final year of his contract at San Siro at the end of the season, but Milan hold a potentially crucial option to extend that deal by a further year.

AC Milan stance reflected by Christian Pulisic valuation

Pulisic has emerged as a key player for the Rossoneri since his move from Stamford Bridge, and he is playing a key role in their push to try and secure the league title this term.

The former Borussia Dortmund man is currently the top scorer for Massimiliano Allegri’s side in league action, and Lautaro Martinez is the only man in Serie A who is outscoring him at the moment.

Pulisic’s performances have attracted interest from the Premier League’s elite once again, but it is clear that Milan are extremely reluctant to lose their star man.

That is reflected by their lofty valuation in the region of £60-70million, according to CaughtOffside, as they look to deter the likes of Arsenal and Tottenham from pushing towards a deal this summer.

The player’s stock has steadily risen since he left England, and it could be about to grow even more ahead of next season if he performs for his country this summer.

Arsenal and Tottenham also fighting over Leon Goretzka

Football Insider revealed on Monday that Arsenal currently hold the edge over Tottenham in the race to sign Leon Goretzka from Bayern Munich.

The German midfielder is set to leave the Allianz Arena as a free agent when his contract expires at the end of the season, and he is another target that has been identified by both sides of the North London divide.

The 31-year-old carries a big reputation in the game, and sources have indicated that the Gunners’ likely ability to be able to offer Champions League football next term has seen them steal a march on Spurs.

Tottenham appear set for another season of rebuilding after another dismal campaign this time around, and that could see them fail to truly have a chance of landing a player of Goretzka’s quality.
