Sources: Antonio Colak could leave Rangers as two forward signings on the cards

Rangers could sell Antonio Colak this summer, sources have told Football Insider.

The Gers are keen to bring in two new strikers in the upcoming window which could force Colak out the door.

The 29-year-old joined Ibrox last summer and put pen to pare on a three-year deal with the Glasgow club.

The Croatia international has fallen down the pecking order under Michael Beale, who favoured the now departed Alfredo Morelos up front.

As quoted by footballscotland (20 May), Beale insisted Colak has a future at Rangers but will need to “take on the challenge”.

The Light Blues boss insisted he wants to “drive competition” within his squad and believe Colak is up to to the task of dealing with it.

On Tuesday (13 June), Football Insider revealed that Rangers are finalising the £3million signing of Atalanta striker Sam Lammers.

A deal for the 26-year-old is believed to be done and he is expected to be one of the next names coming in to Ibrox.

Beale is also keen to bring in another striker and Football Insider revealed yesterday (12 June) that they are pursuing a deal for Cremonese striker Cyriel Dessers and have begun talks with the forward.

Dessers has been on the club’s shortlist for some time and it is believed £5m would secure his signature this summer.

The arrival of Lammers and Dessers could force the Gers to sell Colak in the upcoming window, despite his recent arrival at the Glasgow club.
