Sources: Antonio Nusa set for summer move after Tottenham reach agreement on another deal
Club Brugge ace Antonio Nusa will depart the club in the summer after deals with Brentford and Tottenham collapsed late last month, sources have told Football Insider.
Thomas Frank’s side had agreed a deal for the winger for an initial £25million, but the move was cancelled after issues reportedly emerged with his medical.
Tottenham had also shown interest in signing the 18-year-old sensation and were close to completing a deal, but the deal fell through late on.
However, well-placed sources have told Football Insider that he is expected to move to the Premier League in the summer, ending his three-year stay at Club Brugge.
Tottenham had planned to sign Nusa and send him back to the Belgian club on loan for the remainder of the season.
The 18-year-old has had an impressive season, notching four goals and three assists across 28 appearances.
He has made 64 total appearances for Club Brugge since joining from Norwegian side Stabaek in the summer of 2021.
While Tottenham missed out on the attacking sensation, they signed defender Radu Dragusin permanently from Genoa and Timo Werner on loan for the remainder of the season from RB Leipzig.
Spurs also announced on Friday that they have agreed a deal to sign Swedish sensation Lucas Bergvall after beating Barcelona to his signature.
Brentford secured a deal with Spurs to bring Sergio Reguilon on loan for the remainder of the season.
They also signed Iceland international goalkeeper Hakon Valdimarsson and 18-year-old midfielder Yunus Emre Konak on permanent deals.

Tottenham sit fourth in the Premier League after their 3-2 win over Brentford on Wednesday (31 January), while the Bees sit in 15th.
Spurs are next in action against Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon (3 February), while Frank’s side take on Man City on Monday night (5 February).
