Sources: Arsenal agree Declan Rice terms – £8m+ add-ons revealed

Arsenal have agreed terms with Declan Rice for a deal worth £100million-plus, sources have told Football Insider.

The initial bid will be £92m and includes around £8m worth of add-ons taking that total deal to over £100m.

The 24-year-old has agreed personal terms with Mikel Arteta’s side and is closing in on a move to the Emirates.

Arteta is a big fan of the midfielder and the Gunners view him as a future club and international captain.

Rice’s current contract at West Ham runs until 2024 and includes the option of a 12-month extension but he appears destined to join the Gunners.

On Monday (12 June), Football Insider revealed that Arsenal are preparing to submit and official bid for the England international this week after reaching a verbal agreement with the player.

Football Insider now understands that bid will be £92m with add-ons that could see it rise to over £100m.

Hammers owner David Sullivan has already admitted that Rice is likely to move on from the London Stadium this summer after being “promised” he would be allowed to depart the club.

Despite a disappointing league campaign, Rice captained the Irons to their first trophy in 43 years as they picked up the Europa Conference League title and secured a spot in next season’s Europa League.

But Rice has previously made clear his desire for Champions League football, something Arsenal are able to provide after their second place Premier League finish this season.
