Sources: Arsenal bank £15m+ payout after deal agreed

Arsenal are set to earn over £15million per season from their long-term deal with Sobha, sources have told Football Insider.

The Gunners announced on Friday (2 February) that they have struck an agreement with the Dubai-based real estate company.

The agreement includes naming rights for Arsenal’s training ground – now renamed the Sobha Realty Training Centre – as well as sleeve sponsorship for the club’s training kits.

Well-placed sources say the deal will be worth over £15million per season to Arsenal, making it one of the club’s most lucrative commercial deals.

Football Insider revealed last month that senior figures from Arsenal traveled to Dubai with the first-team in January to work on multiple commercial deals.

It is understood that the deal between Arsenal and Sobha was finalised during their week-long training camp in the United Arab Emirates last month.

The Sobha deal adds to a growing list of global partners at Arsenal with the North London club signing eight commercial deals since the end of the 2023-24 season – more than any other Premier League club.

As revealed by Football Insider, Stan Kroenke has spearheaded a directive alongside his son Josh, Vice-Chair Tim Lewis and Chief Commercial Officer Juliet Slot to improve the club’s commercial output.

The Gunners posted commercial revenue of £166million in the 2022-23 season, but that figure is expected to rise following multiple off-pitch deals.
