Sources: Arsenal could complete Reiss Nelson sale to fund £80m+ signing
Arsenal will consider the sale of Reiss Nelson this summer to fund a big-money move for Viktor Gyokeres, sources have told Football Insider.
The Gunners are in the market for a striker and have been linked to Sporting forward Gyokeres, 25, who has a release clause of £85million this summer.
As revealed by Football Insider, both Arsenal and Chelsea are keeping tabs on Gyokeres ahead of a potential summer deal.
Arsenal could cash in on Nelson, 24, to provide a boost to their financial accounts and help fund a move for Gyokeres.
Nelson has fallen down the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium and his sale would provide pure profit to the club’s financial accounts because he is an academy graduate.

Football Insider revealed that Arsenal could accept a £25million offer for Nelson with Brighton showing interest in his signature.
The Seagulls are big admirers of the young winger and believe he could thrive in an inverted winger role at the Amex Stadium.

Nelson is yet to start a Premier League match for the Gunners this season and has made 23 appearances across all competitions for a total of just 654 minutes.
He has been with the North London side since the age of nine when he joined the club’s academy system.
