Sources: Arsenal tell Butler-Oyedeji to find new club after Bundesliga club approach

Arsenal have told striker Nathan Butler-Oyedeji he can complete a loan move before the window shuts, sources have told Football Insider.

The forward, 20, is a target for a number of clubs at home and abroad this summer.

Butler-Oyedeji, who was named on the bench for Mikel Arteta’s first-team last season, is set to be loaned out so that he can regular first-team action next season.

Clubs in Belgium, the Bundesliga second tier and Denmark as well as several League One clubs in England have made enquiries about the versatile attacker.

Butler-Oyedeji had his first experience of senior football during a loan spell at Accrington Stanley during the second half of last season and Arsenal feel he would be best served by going out on loan again next season.

The 20-year-old made 14 appearances in Premier League 2 last season and scored four goals for their under-21’s side in the Papa Johns Trophy.

Gunners manager Mikel Arteta included the striker in his matchday squad twice this season, once in the Premier League and once in the FA Cup before his loan spell at Accrington Stanley last season.

Butler-Oyedeji played 11 appearances whilst away on loan last season, but was unable to find the net in any of these matches.

Arsenal

Arsenal have had a busy transfer window so far this summer after signing Declan Rice, Kai Havertz and Jurrien Timber.

With players coming in, outgoings are also expected with Butler-Oyedeji one of those players likely to depart the club on loan before deadline day,
