Sources: Big Kyogo release clause news from Celtic
There is no release clause in Kyogo Furuhashi’s Celtic contract, sources have told Football Insider.
Kyogo is continuing to attract interest from clubs in the Bundesliga and the English Premier League after an impressive second season in Glasgow.
The 28-year-old’s current contract runs until 2025 after joining the Parkhead club from J-League side Vissel Kobe in July 2021.
Last week (11 May), Football Insider revealed that the Hoops want £20million if they are to let the star striker leave this summer amid interest from Germany, Italy and England.
Premier League side Crystal Palace have been long-term admirers of the forward and are still keen on signing him this summer, as previously revealed by this site.
Kyogo has had an impressive season in Glasgow, picking up the award for top goalscorer, player’s player of the year and player of the year at the POTY awards last weekend (14 May).
As quoted by The Herald (15 May), the goalscorer said he “could not be happier” to be at Celtic and that he wants to play as many games as he can for the club and its supporters.

The Japan international has netted 30 goals across 46 appearances in all competitions this season, including 23 Premiership goals, the most of any player in the Scottish top flight.
Since his arrival in Scotland, Kyogo has netted 50 goals for the Scottish Premiership champions and helped them to lift back to back Premiership and League Cup trophies.
In other news, Celtic are planning to accept summer offer for midfielder.
