Sources: Blackburn pull plug on Lowe deal after Swansea price tag revealed
Blackburn have been frustrated in their attempts to sign Swansea City striker Jamal Lowe after being priced out a move, Football Insider understands.
Rovers were interested in signing the 27-year-old before the close of the transfer window, but Swansea’s price tag has put them off.
A Blackburn source has told Football Insider that the club have now switched their attentions elsewhere and are looking to bring in another striker on loan.

Yesterday, a recruitment source told Football Insider that Rovers were keen on striking a last-minute deal for Lowe.
Rovers are still searching for Adam Armstrong’s replacement after the forward moved to Southampton.
It is understood Tony Mowbray is desperate to secure the signature of a new centre forward before this evening’s cut-off.
The 24-year-old had long been linked with a move to the Premier League and finally made the step up this summer.
However, this leaves Blackburn short of goals.
Armstrong scored 29 goals for the club last season and registered the best goals-to-minutes ratio in the division.
The Lancashire club have made three loan signings already this summer, all from Premier League clubs.
Centre half Jan Paul van Hecke has joined from Brighton and he has been joined by Liverpool’s Leighton Clarkson.
More recently Ian Poveda made the short trip from Elland Road to Ewood Park after being frozen out by Marcelo Bielsa.

Yesterday, his site revealed that Rovers have seen a £250,000 bid rejected for Aberdeen attacker Ryan Hedges.
At the other end of the pitch, Mowbray’s side have agreed a deal to sign Lincoln City defender Tayo Edun.
