Sources: Blackburn Rovers open talks to sign Swansea star Lowe
Blackburn Rovers have opened talks to sign Swansea City striker Jamal Lowe, Football Insider can exclusively reveal.
Blackburn are in the market for attacking reinforcements as they look to fill the void left by Adam Armstrong following his exit to Southampton.
A recruitment source has told Football Insider that Rovers are keen on striking a last-minute deal for 27-year-old Swansea man Lowe.

Lowe is under contract at the Liberty Stadium until 2023, and the Swans have the option to extend his deal by another year.
He has started all six of the Welsh side’s matches in 2021-22, including last weekend’s 3-1 defeat to Preston North End.
This site revealed earlier today that Rovers have seen a £250,000 bid rejected for Aberdeen attacker Ryan Hedges.
At the other end of the pitch, Tony Mowbray’s side have agreed a deal to sign Lincoln City defender Tayo Edun.
But it is the centre-forward berth that is the manager’s main concern with the transfer cut off just over 24 hours away.
Ben Brereton Diaz and Sam Gallagher, both natural centre-forwards, have moved to Ewood Park for a combined total of £11million in recent years.
But Mowbray has generally prefered to deploy both men on the wing.

Lowe is also accomplished as a wide man but scored 14 goals as an out-and-out striker for Swansea last season.
That was only his first season with the Swans after signing from Wigan Athletic following their relegation to League One last summer.
