Sources: Bradford City, Oxford United, Burton Albion and Fleetwood in hunt to sign Crystal Palace star Gordon
Oxford, Burton, Fleetwood, Bradford and Belgian side RWD Molenbeek are interested in signing Crystal Palace forward John-Kymani Gordon, sources have told Football Insider.
The attacker, 20, flourished during a successful first loan at Carlisle last season as they won promotion to League One.
Gordon, who is highly regarded at Palace, was part of the first-team squad for their pre-season tour of the USA.
Now the EFL quartet and RWD Molenbeek have registered their interest in a deal for Gordon, who will be allowed to leave on loan.
He has been at Palace for over a decade and signed his first professional deal in the summer of 2020.
Gordon was rewarded for his progress with a new contract last season after playing with the first team in winter friendlies against Napoli and Trabzonspor during the World Cup break.
The forward demonstrated his versatility last term, playing all across the front three for Palace’s Under-21’s and Carlisle – though he was mainly used as a left winger.
He managed eight goals and one assist in 13 games for the Eagles’ youth side in the 2022-23 campaign before scoring twice in 17 games as the Cumbrian side were promoted via the playoffs.
Gordon is not the only highly-rated young forward set to leave Selhurst Park temporarily, with Luke Plange heading to Carlisle until January.
The duo are set for spells away from Palace despite a potential exit for Michael Olise this summer.

Football Insider revealed on Wednesday (9 August) that the Croydon side could be powerless to prevent the 21-year-old from joining one of England’s elite clubs.
Palace and Roy Hodgson start the new Premier League season against newly-promoted Sheffield United on Saturday (12 August).
