Sources: Brighton in talks to sign Rangers sensation Rory Wilson after record offer
Brighton have made a move to beat multiple Premier League clubs to the capture of Rangers sensation Rory Wilson, Football Insider understands.
That has opened the door to his many suitors down south and a Brighton source has told Football Insider they are pushing hard to lure Wilson.

Early talks have been held over a potential deal for Wilson, who is out of contract at the end of the season.
It will only cost around £300,000 in development costs for the Premier League elite to complete a deal for the highly rated young striker.
Intriguingly, Brighton are also trying to sign another Scottish starlet.
As revealed by Football Insider on Monday (28 March), the Seagulls are challenging Rangers for the capture of Motherwell 15-year-old Bailey Rice.
Wilson has informed Rangers he wants to leave in the summer despite extensive efforts from the club to keep him.
The player and his family have met with director of football Ross Wilson and manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst, who tried to sell the club to them in a bid to get the youngster to stay.
But the youngster’s mind has been made up and, barring an unexpected U-turn, he appears destined to follow another Ibrox academy product Billy Gilmour down south.
Wilson, who turned 16 in January, is able to sign a pro deal at Rangers as Scottish rules allow them from the age of 16.
In England, he would need to wait 10 months to do so.
However, top clubs down south are lining up to offer Wilson a scholarship contract that would be converted into a full-time deal when he is 17.

Losing such a prodigious talent would be a major blow for Rangers, who were unable to stop Gilmour heading to Chelsea at the same age.
Wilson has banged in 40 goals for the Gers youth teams this season and also has seven in six matches for Scotland Under-17s.
In other news, Rangers on course to make “phenomenal” £70million announcement.
