Brighton are prepared to go head-to-head with Man United to sign Davide Frattesi this season, sources have told Football Insider.
The Seagulls are in the market for a new central midfielder this summer and have identified the 23-year-old as a top target ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.

He has scored seven times for the Italian outfit this season to help them reach 13th in the league table with two matches remaining in the calendar.
Frattesi has spent the entirety of his career at Sassuolo, first reaching the senior team in 2017 after impressing at Roma’s academy as a youngster.
Overall, Frattesi has made 76 appearances for the Italian side, scoring 11 and assisting four goals.
