Sources: Bundesliga clubs make moves to sign Rangers star Ryan Jack

A number of Bundesliga clubs have registered their interest in signing Rangers midfielder Ryan Jack this summer, sources have told Football Insider.

The 31-year-old’s contract at Ibrox expires at the end of the season and his uncertain future at Rangers has piqued the interest of clubs in Germany.

Football Insider revealed (16 February) that Rangers were set to open talks with Ryan Jack over a new contract after the Scottish League Cup final against Celtic.

The Scotland midfielder shone in the Europa League for Rangers last season and Bundesliga clubs have kept Jack on their radar while continuing to monitor his situation at Ibrox.

It is understood that Jack is keen to remain at Ibrox and that manager Michael Beale still considers him a key member of the squad.

Jack has been a regular for Beale this season, making a total of 27 appearances across all competitions this season and scoring and assisting twice this campaign.

Beale decided against starting him in the Old Firm this week but brought Jack on for the final 25 minutes after Alfredo Morelos’ goal in the second half.

He is currently spending his sixth season at Ibrox after joining the club from Aberdeen in 2017.

During his time in Glasgow, Jack has contributed to winning the league title in 2020/21 as well as the Scottish Cup in 2022.

Jack’s move to Rangers coincided with a call-up to the Scotland national team in 2017, where he has since made 14 senior international appearances.
