
Sources: Callum Robinson undergoing Cardiff City medical after West Brom deal agreed
Callum Robinson is undergoing a Cardiff City medical on Thursday morning after agreeing to join from West Brom, sources have told Football Insider.
The forward, 27, is putting the finishing touches to a move to the Championship club.
Cardiff have had a bid accepted by West Brom for Robinson and he will join on a permanent deal.
The Baggies have strengthened their attacking options during the summer window.
The club has welcomed Wallace and Brandon Thomas-Asante from Milwall and Salford respectively.
Ireland international Robinson was left out of the matchday squad as Albion drew 1-1 with Wigan Athletic on Tuesday (30 August).
Robinson has made six appearances across all competitions for West Brom this season but is yet to be included in the starting lineup.
During those outings, he has provided one assist.
The Irish forward made 44 appearances for the club last season, scoring eight goals and providing nine assists.
The winger currently has three years remaining on his contract at The Hawthorns.
He joined from Sheffield United in 2020 after spending a season on loan with Steve Bruce’s side.
Cardiff are currently 17th in the English Championship, three places below West Brom.
The Bluebirds, who are managed by Steve Morrison, suffered a 2-1 defeat to Luton on Tuesday (30 August).

The Welsh club have made 16 signings already this summer.
They continue their Championship campaign away to Millwall on Saturday (3 September).
