Sources: Coventry City agree deal to sign Burnley star Luke McNally
Coventry City have agreed a deal to sign Burnley defender Luke McNally with a medical booked for Tuesday, sources have told Football Insider.
The Championship club are poised to sign the 23-year-old centre-back on loan for the rest of the season.
Coventry are applying the finishing touches to the deal after Hull City and Sheffield Wednesday also expressed an interest in McNally.

The defender joined Burnley from Oxford United last summer, but he has found his first-team opportunities limited with the team flying high at the top of the Championship.
The Clarets spent £2million bringing McNally to Turf Moor, but so far this season he’s managed just two minutes of first-team action.
His first substitute cameo came in August during the 1-0 loss to Watford, and McNally had to wait until October to get another brief spell from the bench in the 4-2 victory over Sunderland.
It’s a stark contrast to the season prior, when McNally made 30 appearances in League One, playing over 2,500 minutes in total.
Before his breakthrough with Oxford United, McNally was at Irish club St Patrick’s Athletic, where he won the club’s Young Player of the Year award in 2020.

He won the same award at Drogheda United in 2019 during his loan spell with the club.
McNally has an eye for goal having scored 11 times from centre-back despite having played just over 70 senior games.
