Sources: Coventry City and Birmingham City make moves to sign Norwich star Danel Sinani
Coventry City and Birmingham City are battling it out to sign Norwich City attacker Danel Sinani, sources have told Football Insider.
Coventry and Birmingham have made enquiries to Norwich about the availability of the Luxembourg international before next week’s transfer deadline.
Sinani, 25, has made 18 appearances in all competitions for Norwich so far this season, but most of those have come off the bench.

The forward, who spent last season on loan at Huddersfield, could be offloaded by the Canaries this month with his contract expiring in the summer.
Sinani has been at Norwich since the summer of 2020 but has only made 18 first-team appearances for the club.
All of those have come this season after spending his first two campaigns with the club on loan at Waasland-Beveren and Huddersfield.
Sinani enjoyed a solid 2021-22 with the Terriers, making 42 league appearances, 31 of which were starts, as they reached the Championship playoffs.
Those league appearances yielded six goals and four assists.
Sinani also scored a further goal in Huddersfield’s 1-1 playoff semi-final draw with Luton Town.
He started in the final but was hooked in the 66th minute with Nottingham Forest ultimately gaining promotion.
Sinani is also an experienced international, making 51 appearances for Luxembourg and scoring nine goals.

Norwich sit fifth in the Championship having won their last two games.
The Canaries are next in action against Burnley on 4 February.
