Sources: Crystal Palace’s Daniel Munoz asking price revealed ahead of January
Crystal Palace will demand well over £25million for Daniel Munoz after the wing-back was linked with Barcelona, sources have told Football Insider.
Munoz struggled in Palace’s 0-0 draw with Brighton on Sunday (9 November), but has been extremely impressive for much of the season.
The defender is under contract until 2028, meaning that the Eagles are under no pressure to accept offers.
Sources say that Palace will not let Munoz leave in the January transfer window despite the interest from Barcelona, as well as Manchester City and Chelsea.

Daniel Munoz has ambitions of Champions League
Crystal Palace are eager to hold onto the Colombian as they have ambitions of going deep into the UEFA Conference League knockout stages, as well as fighting for Europe in the Premier League.
However, sources say that Munoz would consider a Selhurst Park departure if the opportunity to join a Champions League club arose.
The 29-year-old is desperate to prove himself at the highest level, and if he continues to perform this season, could be in line for a summer move.
However, there are question marks around whether Barcelona could pull the funds together to afford Munoz, given their current financial situation.
Crystal Palace to take time over Adam Wharton deal
Meanwhile, Crystal Palace are in no rush to wrap up Adam Wharton’s contract talks as they will not sell the midfielder in January, sources have told Football Insider.

Oliver Glasner’s side have reportedly opened negotiations with the 21-year-old regarding a new deal.
Sources say that the Palace are eager to reward Wharton for his rapid development over the past year.
However, the Eagles don’t feel that they need to complete talks before the transfer window reopens, as the England international is not for sale regardless of his contract situation.
