Sources: Derby County block Bournemouth and QPR moves for Lawrence
Derby County’s administrators have rejected approaches from Bournemouth and Queens Park Rangers for Tom Lawrence, Football Insider understands.
The Championship duo are looking to capitalise on Derby’s financial problems by luring away the 28-year-old by next Monday.
A recruitment source has told Football Insider that County have made it clear to Bournemouth and QPR they want to keep hold of Lawrence as he’s a key member of Wayne Rooney’s side.

Lawrence is out of contract at the Rams at the end of the current campaign.
Rooney named the attacking midfielder his captain at the beginning of the season to replace Curtis Davies.
The Wales international is one of the club’s longest-serving players after moving from Leicester City in 2017.
He has scored eight goals and provided three assists in 24 Championship games for Derby this term.
The Rams are vulnerable to losing players this month due to their perilous financial situation.
They have already lost key players like Phil Jagielka and Graeme Shinnie this month.
Youngster Dylan Williams was the latest player to leave the club when he completed a move to European champions Chelsea last week (22 January).
Bournemouth are in the market for attacking reinforcements this month as they look to bolster their promotion charge.

Scott Parker has already added centre-back James Hill from Fleetwood Town while Man United left-back Ethan Laird has arrived on loan this month.
Lawrence has scored 47 times and provided 38 assists in 250 Championship games in his time with Derby, Ipswich Town, Cardiff City, Blackburn Rovers, Rotherham United and Yeovil Town.
In other news, Newcastle United have agreed to hire an Englishman from Bournemouth.
