Sources: Door opens for Leeds to sign Lorenzo Pellegrini after ‘unrest’
Leeds are still on the hunt to strengthen their attack with Daniel Farke not content with his current firepower following a misfiring start in the Premier League.
With just seven goals from the first seven matches back in the English top-flight, goals are evidently a problem for the Peacocks.
Sources told Football Insider that Leeds continue to chase Fulham’s Harry Wilson with his contract situation remaining unresolved.
This came after Football Insider exclusively revealed on 23 September that Leeds are targeting a winger and an attacking midfielder in the January transfer window.

Lorenzo Pellegrini out of favour at Roma opens door for Leeds bid
As I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, the Whites are strongly considering stepping up their pursuit of the Italian.
The 29-year-old attacking-midfielder has been in-and-out of the Roma squad, which suggests the club remain unsure about his long-term future with his contract expiring at the end of the season.
Speaking on the Inside Track podcast, I explained: “Potentially if he [Lorenzo Pellegrini] was on Leeds’ list previously, I’m sure they’ll have continued to monitor his situation at Roma.
“It’s an interesting moment because he’s in the final year of his contract at Roma and it does seem that Roma could be willing to let him move on.

“This January will probably be their last opportunity to cash in on Pellegrini and again, it looks like he doesn’t really figure in their plans going forward for whatever reason.
“There’s been a bit of unrest between him and the club’s fans as well. Sure, if a decent offer was to come in for Pellegrini, it’s something they were considering in January.”
Leon Bailey progress to influence Roma’s stance on Pellegrini
Former Man United chief scout Mick Brown exclusively told Football Insider on 19 August that Aston Villa’s Leon Bailey will join Roma permanently after the end of his season-long loan.

The Jamaican is yet to feature for the Italian giants but if he does hit the ground running upon his return from injury, that could definitely propel a sale for Pellegrini.
The Giallorossi are running out of time to sell the number seven and his funds would be crucial in going towards Bailey’s £19million buy-option clause.
Farke will be engrossed by the former Bayer Leverkusen winger’s progress in the Italian capital to potentially aid Leeds’ pursuit of the attacking-midfielder.
