Sources: Ex-Celtic star Mark Fotheringham agrees to be new Huddersfield Town manager
Huddersfield Town have agreed a deal to make Mark Fotheringham their new manager, sources have told Football Insider.
The former Celtic and Norwich City star, 38, is leaving his role as Hertha Berlin assistant manager to head to the Championship club.
Fotheringham has agreed terms with Huddersfield and the deal could be finalised in the next 24 hours.

The Terriers have turned their attention to the Scotsman following the sacking of Danny Schofield earlier this month after a disappointing start to the season.
Schofield only took over after Carlos Corberan resigned in July to become the new manager of Olympiacos.
Corberan guided Huddersfield to the play-off final last season and has since lost his job at Olympiacos.
The 39-year-old’s exit had a disruptive impact on Huddersfield who are now second from bottom of the Championship table.
They have won just two of their opening nine games of the season and are four points above bottom place Coventry City who have played two fewer games.
Fotheringham has now been tasked with guiding them up the table in his first managerial job.
He has had spells as a coach with various clubs in Germany and is currently the assistant to former Fulham boss Felix Magath at Hertha.

Sources told Football Insider earlier this month (15 September) that Plymouth Argyle’s Steven Schumacher was also in the frame to take over at Huddersfield.
The Terriers are next in action on Saturday (1 October) when they travel to high-flying Reading.
