Sources: Fulham planning to let go two big-name stars

Fulham are open to offers for forward duo Carlos Vinicius and Rodrigo Muniz, sources have told Football Insider.

A well-placed source has revealed that the Cottagers are trying to raise funds and clear space in the squad for the signing of Coventry City star Viktor Gyokeres.

Football Insider revealed on Friday (9 June) that Fulham and Crystal Palace are preparing bids for Gyokeres after the Sky Blues’ failure to secure promotion to the Premier League.

It is believed Everton, Burnley and Wolves are also admirers of the Sweden international.

He has just 12 months left to run on his contract at Coventry – and it is believed that his priority is to secure a move to England’s top flight, despite links with Portuguese giants Sporting CP.

Fulham are keen to add Gyokeres to their ranks in order to ease the burden on star man Aleksandar Mitrovic.

The Serbia international notched 15 goals and four assists in 28 appearances in the 2022-23 campaign.

Marco Silva’s side hit a blip during his eight-game ban earlier this year – picking up nine of a possible 24 points and effectively ending their challenge for European qualification.

Vinicius was Mitrovic’s replacement during that ban – and notched five goals and three assists in 34 appearances in all competitions in the 2022-23 campaign.

His contract runs until June 2025 after joining the Craven Cottage outfit from PSV last year (2022).

Meanwhile, Muniz spent the 2022-23 campaign on loan at Championship Middlesbrough.

The Brazillian made just nine starts in 17 total appearances for the Teessiders, scoring twice.

Fulham

Football Insider revealed on Friday (9 June) that West Ham have made Fulham star Joao Palhinha their top summer target.

The Cottagers are hopeful of securing a huge profit on the midfielder after signing him from Sporting CP for a reported £20million in 2022.

In other news, Fulham have concrete interest in signing Bundesliga star.
