Sources: Harwood-Bellis undergoing Anderlecht medical today as he seals Man City exit
Man City defender Taylor Harwood-Bellis is undergoing an Anderlecht medical today, Football Insider has learned.
The 19-year-old has been given the green light for a new season-long loan after spending last season at Blackburn Rovers.
A City source has told Football Insider Harwood-Bellis has flown to Belgium and is in the process of finalising his move to Anderlecht, who are managed by City legend Vincent Kompany.
The Belgian club have beaten multiple English clubs, including Rovers, to Harwood-Bellis’ signature.
Harwood-Bellis established himself as a regular for the Championship side and ended the campaign with 19 games under his belt.
The teenager has played eight games for City’s first team after making his debut against Preston North End in the Carabao Cup in September 2019.

The Citizens rewarded him with a new contract later that season that will keep him at the club until 2024.
He is now set to become the latest Man City player to join Kompany’s Anderlecht.
Striker Lukas Nmecha spent last season on loan with the Belgian outfit and ended his spell with 21 goals in 41 games across all competitions.
Harwood-Bellis, who captained England at Under-16 and Under-17 level, will be hoping to benefit from Kompany’s experience.
The ex-City captain returned to his boyhood club as player-manager in May 2019.
He retired from playing last summer and guided Anderlecht to a third-place finish in the Juniper Pro League last term.
