Sources: Hull City agree to sign Marcus Forss and Liam Walsh from Brentford and Swansea
Hull City are set to beat the deadline to seal the double signing of Brentford striker Marcus Forss and Swansea midfielder Liam Walsh, Football Insider understands.
New Hull boss Shota Arveladze has keen to bring in some new faces to bolster his squad before Monday’s transfer deadline and targeted deals for Forss and Walsh.
A recruitment source has told Football Insider that Brentford are willing to loan out Finland international Forss so that he can regular first-team football and Swansea are happy to let Walsh move on as he does not figure in Russell Martin’s long-term plans.

Football Insider revealed yesterday (30 January) that Hull were one of several Championship clubs to enquire about Forss’ availability.
The Tigers have worked on a move over the last 24 hours and are confident of completing a deal ahead of the 11pm deadline.
They have also been in negotiations over Walsh, with Swansea open to letting the 24-year-old head out this month.
Hull now look set to secure the midfielder’s capture alongside Forss in a major boost to new boss Arveladze.
Forss has struggled for game time at Brentford this term, with only seven appearances in the Premier League.
He has found himself stuck behind Ivan Toney in the pecking order, despite his role in helping the Bees to promotion.
He scored seven goals in 40 appearances, with Hull keen to add his experience to their squad for the rest of the season.

Meanwhile, Walsh has struggled for game time since joining Swansea on a free transfer last summer.
He has played just seven times for the Swans and manager Martin is open to letting him join Hull City.
In other news, Bournemouth have raided another Championship club for an attacker.
