Sources: Hull City make enquiry about signing ‘next Jarrod Bowen’

Hull City are the latest club to enquire about non-league sensation Jordan Thomas, sources have told Football Insider.

The Bath City winger has been dubbed the ‘next Jarrod Bowen’ and has had EFL scouts flocking to Twerton Park this season to watch him following a string of outstanding performances.

With nine goals and six assists so far in the 2023-24 campaign, the 22-year-old left-footed winger is a player in demand heading into the January window.

Hull are now pushing hard to sign him along with fellow Championship sides.

Football Insider revealed last month (12 December) that Cardiff City, Swansea City and Bristol City are among a host of EFL sides chasing Thomas after watching him in action.

The Oxford-born ace only joined Bath City in June 2023 but could already be on the move.

Thomas previously played further down the football pyramid for Didcot Town and North Leigh before stepping up to the sixth tier last summer.

His goals and valuable contributions have helped Bath climb to fifth in the National League South and into contention for promotion to the fifth tier.

Like Thomas, Bowen started his senior non-league football before moving to Hull City in 2014.

The right-winger is now an established Premier League goalscorer and England international after securing a move to West Ham in 2020.
