Sources: Ibrahim Osman rejects two Premier League offers to agree to join West Ham – he could then go out on loan
Ibrahim Osman has turned down offers from Brighton and Brentford in favour of a move to West Ham, sources have told Football Insider.
Speaking to the new edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track Podcast, transfer correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed that the Hammers are “confident” they will complete the deal for the FC Nordsjaelland winger before the end of this week.
It is believed that the Irons have won the race over the Premier League duo after stepping up their interest in the 19-year-old, who will cost around £15million.
Football Insider revealed on Wednesday (24 January), David Moyes’ side are in “very advanced talks” with the versatile attacker and are in pole position to sign him.
He has now agreed terms with the club and a full agreement is close.
Well-placed sources told Football Insider that Osman does not feature in the club’s plans this season and could be sent out on loan.
Osman has had a prolific season for FC Nordsjaelland, scoring four goals and providing five assists across 29 appearances in all competitions.
He graduated from the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana, the same esteemed academy that produced current West Ham star man Mohammed Kudus.
The club have been active in the market this month and are expected to complete the loan signing of Man City midfielder Kalvin Phillips very soon.
They had plans to bring in a new marquee striker this month, but sources have told Football Insider (24 January) that they have put this on hold until the summer as their top targets are proving too expensive to land in January.

West Ham sit sixth in the Premier League after their 2-2 draw against Sheffield United on Sunday (21 January).
They will next face Bournemouth in the league at the London Stadium on Thursday 1 February.
