Sources: Joe Hugill agrees Man United deal after breakthrough in talks
Man United striker Joe Hugill has agreed a new long-term deal with the club, sources have told Football Insider.
The 19-year-old is highly regarded within the corridors of power at Old Trafford and will be rewarded for his continued progress with a new and improved contract.
It is believed that an agreement is in place between Hugill and the club following a breakthrough in talks.

Hugill impressed in pre-season for United’s first-team and he is set to sign a new deal until 2026.
The attacker was added to Erik ten Hag’s pre-season squad for their trip to the United States in the summer and took the opportunity to impress the manager and senior coaches.
United are believed to have paid around £300,000 to sign the teenager back in 2020 and his current contract was due to expire in the summer of 2024.
The former Sunderland youngster has netted three goals and provided an assist from four Premier League 2 matches this campaign.
The forward spent the second half of last season on loan with National League side Altrincham.
He made seven appearances and scored one goal in a season that saw them finish 17th in the league.
Ten Hag does not have the luxury of depth in forward areas with both Anthony Martial and new signing Rasmus Hojlund struggling with injuries.

Hojlund joined the Red Devils this summer from Atalanta after they failed to land Harry Kane.
The 20-year-old put pen to paper on a five-year deal at Old Trafford that includes the option of a further 12 months.
