Sources: Leeds United agree two more signings
Leeds United have agreed two more signings as they put the finishing touches to a productive January window, sources have told Football Insider.
The Yorkshire giants have a full agreement in place with Juventus for the loan-to-buy signing of Weston McKennie and are also finalising the capture of Servette defender Diogo Monteiro.
Leeds are now confident both deals will be completed before Tuesday’s (31 January) transfer cut-off.

McKennie, 24, has been given the green light to head to England and undergo a United medical before signing on loan with the option of a permanent deal in the summer.
Swiss sensation Monteiro, 18, is also set to complete a move after agreeing the terms of a contract.
It will take United’s tally of signings this month to four, although Monteiro is expected to initially link up with the club’s Under-21s squad.
Forward Georginio Rutter has arrived for a club-record fee, while Max Wober has signed from RB Salzburg to bolster the defensive ranks.
However, Football Insider revealed on Saturday (28 January) that Leeds United are not pursuing their interest in Lyon loan star Tete – who will instead join Leicester City.
McKennie, who is currently out of contract in June 2025, has made 21 appearances for Juventus this term – notching five goal contributions.
On the international stage, McKennie has built a formidable partnership with current Leeds United star Tyler Adams.
Monteiro turned 18 on Saturday (28 January) after breaking into the Servette first team through Swiss Super League action.
The Portugal Under-19 international has made seven appearances in senior football.

Leeds United sit 15th in the Premier League.
They have also advanced to the fifth round of the FA Cup following victory over Accrington on Saturday (28 January).
