Sources: Leeds United battle Rangers and Norwich City in Josh Tymon race

Leeds United and Norwich City have joined Rangers in the race to sign Stoke City defender Josh Tymon, Football Insider can exclusively reveal.

The Glasgow giants are in the market for a left-back and, as this site revealed on Tuesday (7 June), have enquired about Tymon.

Now a recruitment source has told Football Insider that Leeds and Norwich have registered their interest in Tymon after placing him high on their wanted list.

Stoke have been reluctant to sell the 23-year-old and, as a result, have priced him at a prohibitive £6m.

The Championship club are aware of the growing interest in Tymon and are prepared for offers.

The former England under-20 international has three years remaining on the long-term contract he penned with Michael O’Neill’s side last November.

Tymon player almost every minute of the 2021-22 campaign for Stoke.

The Potters signed Tymon from Hull City when he was just 18 and he has been an important member of their team since.

The attacking left-back accumulated a remarkable 48 appearances across all competitions last season, of which all were from the start.

Leeds United are in the market for a left-sided ful-back this summer.
