Sources: Leeds United six-man signing plan revealed
Leeds United are confident of agreeing at least six new signings once they have trimmed their wage bill, sources have told Football Insider.
The Whites are letting go of many of their high earners as they prepare for life in the Championship next season.
Robin Koch has joined Eintracht Frankfurt on a season-long loan, while Diego Llorente and Rasmus Kristensen are both close to joining Roma on loan deals.
Leeds will also listen to offers for Junior Firpo and Illan Meslier, while Rodrigo and Jack Harrison are both expected to push for summer moves.
Once the Yorkshire giants have cleared the decks, they will refurbish a squad better set up for a season in the second tier as they target instant promotion under new boss Daniel Farke.
Sources have told Football Insider that the club will sign at least six stars, and potentially more, with a new goalkeeper, centre-back, left-back, right-back, winger and striker among their top targets.
Leeds have been forced to conduct their transfer business so far under the cloud of an ongoing takeover.
The club released an official club statement on 9 June confirming that an agreement had been reached between Andrea Radrizzani’s Aser Ventures and the 49ers Enterprises for the purchase of the club.
However, the 49ers takeover is still yet to be given the green light by the EFL.

Nevertheless, the Whites have appointed Farke as manager – and have already allowed Tyler Roberts, Koch, Adam Forshaw and Joel Robles to leave the club.
The club’s first pre-season friendly is against Man United on Wednesday (12 July).
