Liverpool have accepted a bid from Reading for midfielder Ovie Ejaria, Football Insider can reveal.
The 22-year-old is set to join the Championship outfit permanently following two successful loan spells at the club.
A Liverpool source has told Football Insider the club have agreed a fee with Reading for Ejaria of between £2-3million.
The central midfielder has already agreed personal terms with Reading after being offered a four-year contract.
He is now set to put pen to paper on a move that will end his six-year association with Liverpool.
The versatile midfielder first joined Reading in January of last year after cutting short his 2018-19 loan at Rangers, where he was under the guidance of Anfield icon Steven Gerrard, at the midway point.
He then returned to the Madejski Stadium for the entirety of last season and was a regular starter across the campaign.
Reading have moved to sign Ejaria permanently after 55 appearances for them over 18 months.
He has played predominantly in central midfield and been a regular goalscorer and creator, with four goals and seven assists for the Royals.
Ejaria, who has been capped by England at Under-21 level, is a long way off a place in Jurgen Klopp’s intensely competitive first team despite initially breaking through and making eight appearances for his parent club.
The former Arsenal academy product also had a spell out on loan at Sunderland in 2017-18.
