Sources: Liverpool and Man City in race to sign Michael Olise
Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise is being closely watched by Premier League giants Liverpool, Chelsea and Man City, sources have told Football Insider.
Speaking to Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, editor Wayne Veysey revealed that the 22-year-old is expected to fetch a mega-money fee in the summer when he most likely leaves the south London side.
It is believed that the trio of top-flight sides are keeping close tabs on the Eagles ace through regular scouting missions as they assess him ahead of the main window.

Chelsea came close to signing Olise last summer when they activated a £35million release clause before he opted to sign a new bumper long-term contract at Selhurst Park that runs until the summer of 2027.
Palace will not sell the Frenchman in mid-season but there will be huge interest in him going into the summer.
There are whispers a new, higher release clause will become active at that point, opening the door for interested clubs to make a move.
As revealed by Football Insider (31 December), Liverpool are interested in Olise and have dispatched top scouts to assess him as a potential long-term Mohamed Salah replacement.
Olise has been a standout player in the Premier League since returning from a hamstring injury that kept him out of action for the first three months of the season.
In seven Premier League starts this season, Olise, operating mainly on the right side of the Palace attack, has bagged five goals and one assist despite the Eagles’ dismal form.

Across his 80 appearances for Roy Hodgson’s side, he has scored 11 goal and provided 20 assists.
Olise bagged a brace in Palace’s 3-1 win against Brentford on Saturday (30 December) but was unavailable for their FA Cup tie against Everton on Thursday (4 January) due to another hamstring injury.
