Sources: Major update on Marc Roca agreeing Leeds United move
Leeds United and Real Betis are making progress over a permanent deal for Marc Roca, sources have told Football Insider.
Talks are well underway for the Spaniard to make the switch to the La Liga side after he moved there on loan this summer.
Roca, 27, is eager to get the deal done and wants to sever his ties with Leeds.

He has instructed his agent to secure him a permanent move to Betis after spending just one season at Elland Road.
Roca has been a mainstay at Manuel Pellegrini’s outfit and has started 16 out of their 18 games in the Spanish top flight, bagging league two goals and one assist in the process.
He has also been a staple of their Europa League campaign starting all six of their group-stage clashes.
But the seventh-place La Liga side failed to progress to the knockout rounds after finishing third in their group which secured them a spot in the Conference League.
Across 36 appearances in all competitions for Leeds, the defensive midfielder managed one goal and two assists after his £10million move from Bayern Munich in the summer.
Roca was one of many Leeds aces to utilise a relegation release clause in his contract which saw him move to his native Spain after the Whites’ relegation to the Championship.
Under the guidance of new boss Daniel Farke, Leeds are well and truly in the hunt to make a swift return to the Premier League after their 4-0 win over Ipswich Town on Saturday (23 December).

They sit third in the league and narrowed the gap between them and the second-place Tractor Boys to seven points after the Elland Road win.
They next face Preston North End on Tuesday (26 December).
