Sources: Major Ryan Kent update after new Rangers twist
Rangers winger Ryan Kent has not agreed to join Fenerbahce on a pre-contract deal, sources have confirmed to Football Insider.
The winger is a top target for the Turkish giants, however they have not yet secured an agreement with the player, and nor are talks at an advanced stage.
Fenerbahce have been in contact with the Rangers star and discussions have take place over a potential move but Kent, 26, has yet to make up his mind over his future.
It is believed he has a number of options on the table, including offers from English clubs.
Burnley are also keen on securing Kent for next season but face competition from a number of clubs who see him as a fantastic option this summer, especially on a free.
Rangers are set for a huge overhaul and many familiar faces will leave the club with manager Michael Beale set to make major changes to the squad.
The Gers signed Kent for £7 million in 2019 after then manager Steven Gerrard made his loan move to Govan a permanent deal.
He has been a key figure for Rangers as they won the league title, The Scottish Cup and reached a Europa League final during his five years at the club.
Despite reports of no new contracts being offered, it is understood Rangers did try to tie down the playmaker to a new contract to stop him leaving for free.
But Kent will join the likes of Alfredo Morelos and Filip Helander in signing deals elsewhere as the club now accept his association with the club will end in weeks.

Kent has played 218 times for Rangers, scoring 33 goals and notching 57 assists.
However this season he has only found the net only three times in 44 appearances.
