Sources: Man United make Facundo Pellistri transfer decision after overnight twist
Granada are in advanced talks to sign Man United forward Facundo Pellistri, sources have told Football Insider.
It is believed that the La Liga side are in pole position to secure the winger on loan for the remainder of the season after holding further talks with Man United overnight and in the last 24 hours.
Erik ten Hag’s side have told Pellistri that he will be allowed to depart the club this month in order to get regular playing time.

The Premier League giants are eager for the 20-year-old to play senior football after making just four starts across 14 appearances this season.
Granada, who sit 19th in La Liga, are keen for quality reinforcements this month to help avoid going straight back down to the Spanish second tier.
Pellistri has been fielded as both a left and right-sided winger this season and earned his only goal contribution of the season with an assist from the bench in United’s 1-0 win against Fulham in November.
A temporary move to the Spanish top flight would be the third loan move of his career following two spells with Deportivo Alaves between 2020 and 2022.
The tricky winger is known for his exceptional dribbling and agility and has earned 18 senior appearances for Uruguay since making his debut in 2022.
He was called up for the 2022 World Cup and started two of La Celeste’s games before they were eliminated in the group stage.

Man United climbed to seventh in the Premier League after their 2-2 draw against Tottenham on Sunday (14 January).
They next travel to Newport County for their fourth-round FA Cup clash on Sunday 28 January.
