Sources: Man United plan for Amad Diallo revealed after January loan
Man United still believe Amad Diallo has a big long-term future at the club despite being willing to loan him out in January, sources have told Football Insider.
Football Insider revealed on Sunday (24 December) that United could now let Southampton target Diallo, 21, depart on loan in January.
It is believed other Championship clubs and sides in Europe are also monitoring his situation.

Diallo has already had spells away from Old Trafford at Rangers and Sunderland in the last two seasons.
He joined Man United in 2021 for a reported fee of £37million but has managed just nine appearances for the Red Devils, scoring once.
The Ivory Coast international is out of contract at the club in 2025, with United holding the option to extend that deal a further 12 months.
A well-placed source has told Football Insider that there are currently no plans to agree a longer-term extension of Diallo’s contract.
Some reports have suggested the winger could even be sold after his limited involvement for the Red Devils – but it is believed that club chiefs still feel Diallo has a bright future at United.

The 21-year-old has been named in the Ivory Coast’s preliminary squad for the African Cup of Nations next month – but it is unclear at this stage whether he will be part of the final side.
He is yet to play a minute of action in the 2023-24 campaign after suffering a serious knee injury in pre-season.
