Sources: Man United response to ‘jaw-dropping’ Bruno Fernandes offer revealed
Man United are unlikely to entertain any offers for captain Bruno Fernandes in January or next summer, sources have told Football Insider.
The 29-year-old has been widely linked with a potential Saudi Pro League move in recent days as they take their lavish spending to a new level.
Fernandes, who succeeded Harry Maguire as the permanent Man United captain earlier this year, will have two years left on his contract at the end of the 2023-24 campaign.

The Portugal international reportedly earns £240,000-a-week at Old Trafford after penning his most recent extension last year.
As with much of their squad, Man United have the option to extend his deal by a further 12 months.
Despite the jaw-dropping riches likely on offer if a Saudi offer for Fernandes materialises, the Red Devils are not keen to part with the midfielder.
He has played every minute of each of Man United’s Premier League and Champions League games so far in the 2023-24 campaign.
The ex-Sporting CP star has managed four goals and three assists across 16 total appearances for Erik ten Hag’s side.
He weathered criticism of his captaincy to prove his value for Man United by scoring the winner in their 1-0 away win at Fulham last week (4 November).
Fernandes is not the only Red Devils star wanted in Saudi Arabia.
Football Insider revealed on Monday (6 November) that Pro League clubs are expected to register an interest in defender Raphael Varane in the mid-season window.

Nevertheless, it is believed Ten Hag wants to keep the 30-year-old at the club as the Dutchman weathers an injury crisis at centre-back.
Man United, who sit eighth in the Premier League, are next in action against Luton on Saturday (11 November).
