
Sources: Michael Beale in frame for Wolves job
Michael Beale is one of the contenders to be the next manager of Wolves, sources have told Football Insider.
The 42-year-old has impressed while in charge of QPR and could be given a chance to show his credentials in the Premier League.
The West Midlands club are keen to have a new permanent manager in place as soon as possible having parted ways with Bruno Lage on 2 October.

Julen Lopetegui is believed to have turned down the chance to take over at Molineux, while Nuno Espirito Santo has been linked with a return to his former club.
Beale was appointed manager of QPR in June of this year.
His side are currently fourth in the Championship following seven wins from their first 14 league games of the 2022-23 campaign.
The Englishman was Steven Gerrard’s assistant at both Rangers and Aston Villa.
He has also been Liverpool’s under-21 boss and Sao Paulo’s assistant manager during his career.
His contract at Loftus Road runs until the end of June 2025.
Steve Davis is currently on caretaker duties at Molineux.
He led Wolves to a much-needed win over Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
Speaking to club media (17 October), David said his staff are taking things “a game at a time”.

Wolves are currently 17th in the Premier League table.
They travel to Crystal Palace on Tuesday (18 October).
