Sources: Newcastle to sell four senior stars as three marquee signings planned
Newcastle United will listen to offers for four senior stars this summer with the club looking to raise funds to land marquee signings, sources have told Football Insider.
Ryan Fraser, Matt Ritchie, Jamaal Lascelles and Jamal Lewis will all be put up for sale as Eddie Howe continues to reshape his squad.
Newcastle are planning to land at least three marquee signings this summer with big money to be spent on each, but are facing strict financial fair play rules following heavy spending in the last three transfer windows.

The club’s Saudi ownership have only sanctioned the sale of one senior player since the takeover of the club in October 2021, with Jonjo Shelvey joining Nottingham Forest in January.
The club are now looking to sell four senior stars to bolster their spending power.
Lascelles, 29, has only made eight appearances in all competitions this season, starting only once in the Premier League.
However, he remains the club captain even though Kieran Trippier has been wearing the armband.
Fraser, 28, hasn’t made a senior appearance since mid-October but made eight Premier League appearances at the start of the season including three starts.
Lewis, 25, has only made three appearances in all competitions this season, with his only start coming in 7 January’s embarrassing loss to Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Cup.
Ritchie, 33, also started and played 90 minutes against the Owls, with his only other start this season coming against Tranmere Rovers in the Carabao Cup.
As per The Mirror, Newcastle spent £90million on five signings in January 2021 as the club attempted to avoid relegation to the Championship.

The club then broke their transfer record in the summer of 2022 as they landed Alexander Isak in a £63million deal.
They followed that up by signing Anthony Gordon in January in a deal worth £45million, the second most expensive deal in the club’s history.
Among the club’s marquee targets going into the summer is Leicester City’s James Maddison, although there is strong competition for him from Premier League rivals.
In other news, pundit claims Newcastle United are “nailed on” to sign Conor Gallagher after source’s update.
