Sources: Pippa Dickson to quit Rangers as fifth senior exit looms

Head of corporate hospitality at Rangers Pippa Dickson is the next name to depart Ibrox, sources have told Football Insider.

The head of hospitality and wife of former Gers director Andrew Dickson is the next in a long list of departures from the Glasgow club.

On 3 May, Football Insider revealed that Andrew Dickson, director of finance and football, is leaving the Light Blues as they continue a massive overhaul of their senior staff.

The Ibrox club have already lost academy chief Craig Mulholland, whose departure was announced on Tuesday (2 May) and managing director Stuart Robertson is set to step down from his post at the end of the 2022-23 campaign.

Former sporting director Ross Wilson left the club to join Premier League side Nottingham Forest as their chief football officer last month (12 April) just before what is set to be a massive summer window as the club look to close the gap on their Glasgow rivals Celtic.

But on Saturday (6 May), this site revealed that manager Michael Beale has told club chiefs that he doesn’t want them to appoint a replacement sporting director for Wilson.

Wilson’s recruitment record had been heavily criticised by Rangers fans in recent years and Beale has made it clear he wants to use his own recruitment team to bring in players moving forward.

The club, who will be without silverware this season, are facing the “biggest rebuild in years” according to the boss as another senior member of staff prepares to quit.
