Sources: Plymouth Argyle in advanced talks to sign Wolves star Cundle
Wolves midfielder Luke Cundle is in advanced talks to join Plymouth Argyle on loan, sources have told Football Insider.
The 21-year-old has been a target for a number of EFL clubs this summer, but Plymouth are now in the driving seat as they look to bring the player to Home Park.
Wolves are happy to loan out Cundle again this season after a successful spell on loan at Swansea City last term.
He was named on the bench for the first three games of the Premier League season last term but joined the Welsh side just days before the transfer deadline.
The youngster made 34 appearances across all competitions for Swansea, notching three goals and four assists.
He managed 22 starts among those outings as the Swans registered a 10th-place finish in the Championship.
Cundle could now return to the second tier with recently-promoted Plymouth after failing to make an impression on Wolves boss Julen Lopetegui in pre-season.
The midfielder was included in the short training camp in Portugal earlier last month but was omitted from the squad for recent games against Porto, Celtic and Rennes.
His contract at Molineux is set to expire in June 2026 after coming through the ranks at the Midlands club.
Cundle has made seven senior appearances for Wolves to date, starting twice in the Premier League.
He can play in a number of midfield roles, including in holding midfield and in a more attacking role.

Plymouth got off to a winning start in their return to the Championship on Saturday (5 August), beating Huddersfield 3-1 at home.
Wolves start their Premier League campaign against Man United on 14 August.
