Sources: QPR set sights on signing Lincoln City star Jordan Wright
QPR are among a number of Championship clubs tracking Lincoln City goalkeeper Jordan Wright, Football Insider understands.
The 23-year-old has caught the eye since joining from Nottingham Forest in a permanent deal during the January transfer window.
A recruitment source has told Football Insider that Queens Park Rangers are in the market for goalkeeping reinforcements for next season and are weighing up a move for Wright.
The 6ft 6in star has kept three clean sheets in six appearances for Lincoln and scouts have making regular checks.
Several second-tier sides are among those keeping close tabs on the shot-stopper.
A graduate of Nottingham Forest’s youth ranks, Wright did not make a single senior appearance before leaving the City Ground.
Instead, he spent most of his formative years out on loan.
He had spells at Alfreton, Kettering, Alloa Athletic and Hereford before returning to Forest in November 2021.
The Championship outfit gave Wright the green light to leave permanently in January, with Lincoln striking a deal.
He was left as an unused substitute for the Imps’ opening eight league games of the season.
However, an ankle injury to first-choice keeper Josh Griffiths, on loan from West Brom, has handed Wright a run in the starting XI.
He has started Lincoln’s last five games, keeping a clean sheet in two.
The shot-stopper’s performances have caught the eye of talent spotters across the EFL, including at QPR.
Mark Warburton’s men are looking at strengthening their goalkeeping options this summer.

The Hoops currently have Seny Diang, Jordan Archer, David Marshall, Keiren Westwood and Dillon Barnes on their books.
However, Marshall, Westwood and Barnes are all set to be out of contract this summer.
