Sources: Rangers exodus intensifies as another senior man leaves

Finance director Kenny Barclay is the latest Rangers staff member to quit, sources have told Football Insider.

Barclay becomes the sixth senior staff member at Ibrox to announce their departure from the club this season.

On 8 May, Football Insider exclusively revealed that head of corporate hospitality Pippa Dickson became the fifth staff member to jump ship in Glasgow.

She joins husband and director of finance and football Andrew Dickson in her departure from the Gers.

The Light Blues have already lost academy chief Craig Mulholland, whose departure was announced last week, as well as former sporting director Ross Wilson who quit for Nottingham Forest last month.

The club will also lose managing director Stewart Robertson at the end of the season with James Bisgrove appointed as the club’s new CEO.

The Glasgow giants are undergoing a massive change ahead of the summer after a disappointing season in Scotland that has left them trophyless and lagging behind Glasgow rivals Celtic.

Not only are the club losing several senior members of staff from the club’s hierarchy, several players are also expected to depart at the end of the season.

Senior players including Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Kent, Allan McGregor and Ryan Jack, among others, are out of contract in the summer and could quit the club for free.
