Sources: Rangers close to two new signings amid £4m Luis Palma update
Rangers are not in official talks with Greek club Aris over winger Luis Palma despite reports from Greece and Scotland, sources have told Football Insider.
It has been suggested that talks are ongoing over a £4.3million deal for the 23-year-old Honduras international.
However, Football Insider understands this is not yet the case with Rangers yet to advance their interest in the winger – who is wanted by clubs across Europe.
Gers boss Michael Beale has pushed on with recruitment despite losing director of football Ross Wilson to Nottingham Forest last month.
Rangers are also focusing on other deals, with Chelsea defender Dujon Sterling nearing a move to Ibrox and a deal for Norwich City midfielder Kieran Dowell also set to be confirmed after he underwent a recent medical.
Palma, who stars for Greek club Aris Saloniki, has been scouted by Rangers throughout the 2022-23 campaign.
He has notched 13 goals and eight assists across 35 appearances in all competitions.
The Ibrox club are taking an aggressive approach in the market and want to get their business done early in order to focus next on closing the gap to fierce rivals Celtic next season.
The Gers are also exploring deals to replace Ryan Kent, who will leave the club this summer.
However, reports of an exit being close for the 23-year-old Englishman are wide of the mark.

Rangers are set for a complete summer overhaul with up to 10 new players coming into the club as Beale and his staff strive to close the gap to runaway rivals Celtic.
Palma, who has turned out six times at senior level for Honduras, is out of contract at Aris in June 2026.
